“We want to be like the British Empire.
The sun will never set on the happy hour empire.”
The above quote is a rough remembrance of what Michael said to me at Plan B bar (formerly ACME) a couple weeks ago. Michael, Elizabeth, and Bryan are building UrbanDrinks.com, a guide to bars and happy hours around the country.
Of course, they live in Portland aka Eden, and undisputed (to us) bar king of the world. Therefore, Portland is nicely filled out on their site. But, if you don’t see your favorite watering hole, you can add it in there (as well as tags and info if it is listed).
Bonus, you can create a pub crawl on there and bring your other friend on it.
They also told me there are almost constant happy hours in the PDX (7AM to 2:30AM)

This grid is from their site, and was cut and pasted at 11:45 today, Saturday. Go over there and play my new favorite game–click and refresh to watch our happy hours come alive.
There is already a new one in SE (yeah!) since I started writing this.
