I took this from Woodhill Homes’ Website/Blog because I’ve noticed that we get both Bend readers and I know that a lot of PDXers go over to Bend for things like this…oh, and b/c I like free Wine
October 6 and 7: HospiceCenter’s “Wine by the River” This Weekend in Bend and it’s FREE
One of Bend’s great events is happening this weekend–”Wine By The River”
(as in the Deschutes River for those reading outside of Bend).

Here is information from Travel Oregon’s website about the Event:
Join over 25 Oregon wineries, local restaurants and purveyors as you indulge, enjoy, and completely spoil yourself by sampling a bounty of wines, artisan cheeses, olive oils, fresh fruit, artisan breads and mouth watering chocolates.
HospiceCenter Wine by the River’s purpose is to bring awareness to the growing end-of-life needs for children in Central Oregon. HospiceCenter Wine by the River’s long-range goal is to provide quality end-of-life services, education and grief counseling care to patients under the age of 25 and their families. 2007’s HospiceCenter Wine By the River is dedicated to and in memory of Katie Marie Morris, a 13 year-old girl who lost her battle to cancer in April 2007.

and I’ve never been to Bend, but I likes my wine…especially when it is free, so if you want to take me, feed m, shelter me (Woodhill, you apparently have homes? hint), let’s do this!
