Barack Obama is in Portland tomorrow and Eugene after that. I have a ticket to see him at Memorial Coliseum, but I am not sure if I can get there by 6AM (let’s face it, 7:30 AM is a struggle) if that is what is needed to be assured of entrance. We’ll see..
Anyway, I see that Obama filled out an NCAA bracket (looks better than mine so far), and picked Mississippi St. to beat the Oregon Ducks. Strong, bold move for a man visiting our state and Eugene. Here is a statement of his thoughts on the intricacies of his picks:
“I’m taking this very seriously. It’s a science.”
- Hilary did not fill out a ballot…come on Hill!
- Barack picked Kansas over Portland State. I can’t really blame him for that, even with all the time and money I have spent at PSU.
- He’s got North Carolina winning this thing. I’ve got Georgetown. I guess I am more of a Washington insider.
