If you like R&B, Gospel, Afro, Reggae, and Jazz–you are in luck. This weekend brings the ‘Good in the (Neighbor) Hood’ multicultural music and food festival in North/NE Portland and it is all free.
The Good in the Hood Community Parade is Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 am from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to King School Park (4800 Block of NE 6th & Humboldt Streets). The concerts will take place in the King School Park
Parade Formation/Check-in begins at 9:00 AM at the Emanuel Hospital Field between Williams and Vancouver Ave.

Do you have a date yet for 2009 when the GINH parade is and when the multicultural fair is. I am trying to schedule this at the Red Cross and I see that Juneteenth festivities are June 14 – June 25th this year. Can someone get me the dates soon for the GINH venues?
