I’m sure most (OK all) of you are aware that Oregon has some of the best beer in the country WORLD. In fact, last weekend Oregon breweries won 18 awards at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver (Read here). Hopworks was one of those winners, and this weekend they are hosting the Oregon Brewers Guild Fresh Hop Festival which has several more winners there.
What I am trying to say is…yeah I’ll be there, probably with the Urbandrinkers.

Hopworks hosts the Oregon Brewers Guild Fresh Hop Tastival featuring more than 25 fresh hop beers from the best of Oregon’s craft breweries, including Hopwork’s own Parsec Pale, Fest of Fury and a special barrel aged-dry hopped Parsec Pale. The event is free and family friendly. Mugs for tastings are $5, and tokens $1 a piece. Munch on our New York-style, thin-crust pizza, or authentic German fare while sipping the finest flavors of this year’s hop harvest. Gates open at noon, brews flowing ‘til 9 pm.
