Supertrash Film Festival: Body Heat | Bagdad Theater

Jason just reminded us another film event in PDX this evening for those of you who aren’t going  to see Belladonna at Fantasy for Adults or The Astonished Man at Clinton St Theater. Between just these three options, I think we will all have a great Saturday night.

From Jason at Floating Wold comics & Bagdad Theater:
Bagdad Theater Portland Oregon

Shows start at 10 p.m., with live sets from Bridgetown Comedy; awesome 35mm trailers; unreleased vintage rock performances from Classic Concert Series (Bowie, Sabbath, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, The Clash, etc.); and animation curated by Floating World Comics. Then at 11p.m., the movie!

Saturday, November. 22 BODY HEAT (1981) Dir. Lawrence Kasdan
Another 80s post-modern masterpiece, serving 70s sex-attack over a grill of 40s noir, Body Heat is an evil trip in a sin suburb with a scumbag lawyer and a way-too-smart nympho. Starring William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, and hyper-cute Mickey Rourke.
(check theater listing for additional showtimes during week)
