If for some reason you haven’t been to one of the Goodfoot Lounge’s First Thursday art shows, this will be one of the best of the year. I was at last year’s Art of Musical Maintenance opening, and it was packed full of people and holiday beer cheer. They even have DJ Magneto up from SoCal, so the party is on.
The Dark Star might even make an appearance.

The Art of Musical Maintenance, in it’s 5th year, is proud to display the newest installment of music poster. There will be around 300 framed posters, from around 50 artists coming from all around the country. The artists in this show are as diverse as the music they are promoting, the artist’s techniques vary as well (from hand drawn to computer generated design).
To celebrate the 5 year mark, we will also be releasing a 104 page book with 25 of the artists, that have been in many of the show.
Dj Magneto and Mike the 2600 king will be Dj’ing the opening.
