From Kristin Wall:

There’s a handful of places in Portland that visually recharge my batteries and serve as inspiration for my photography. Two of my favorites are alongside the train tracks on Highway 30 in North Portland and the hub of the North East. Both are true representations of what is means to live in Portland.

Dec 5: Draw Pictures of (or just look at) Hot Cabaret Models at Dante’s–”When Cabaret Meets Art School”

Dr Sketchy's show at Dante's Inferno, Portland, Oregon

I was told by MJ/Mirage (rumor has it she will be wearing a pink candy theme outfit) about this event Wednesday. You pay a little cash (goes to models), bring your sketchbook, and draw pictures of cabaret models. Apparently, it is done by “London” of Suicide Girl fame. I wonder how one could possibly get class credit for this….hey AiPD, start working on that

From Dr Sketchy’s Myspace page (we might call this page NSFW is you work in one of those environments):

Cyber Monday is Here: PDX PIPELINE Gear is What You/They Want!

So, apparently everyone slacks off work today to shop online. At least that is what The Man :) wants you to think. Well, if you are going to do that, you might as well hook up the Pipeline and Kristin with some Beer Monies.

The Holiday Ale Festival is almost here you know.

There’s an added dimension with the years rust. You can almost hear the pieces grinding together.
