The Liberators at the Brody Theater: April 11th & 18th

Posted By Meagan Kate

Finally! One of Portland’s favorite improv groups – The Liberators – will be gracing the stage of The Brody Theater. If you’ve never seen The Liberators perform, then you may very well be missing out on one of the wittiest improv groups you’ll ever share an evening with.  It doesn’t hurt that every one of them is really, really, ridiculously good looking.

liberators, portland, oregon See? I told you!

The Liberators consist of (left to right) Nicholas Kessler (Icarus, Live Wire!, The Second City, Improv Olympic), Shelley McLendon (Eastland Academy , Mortified, Live Wire!, ComedySportz Portland), John Breen (Wendy and Lucy, Upright Citizens Brigade NYC, The Auteur, Hoskins  and Breen) and the adorable Tony Marcellino (The Auteur, ComedySportz Portland, Your Other Left, Skin & Bones).

The upcoming shows will involve The Liberators and their friends at The Brody Theater performing in a hilarious format titled “The Movie” where the gang improvises a never before seen Hollywood blockbuster just for you! They even tell me they’re willing to hold your hand during the scary parts … yes, you!

If you can’t make it this Saturday – they’ll be performing again on Saturday the 18th and you are guaranteed a good time and a new crush (or four)! See you there!
